      This important role within a growing area of our business will be one with a direct relationship between underwriter(s), agents, and customer service represenatives (CSRs). Will be responsible for supporting all areas of Contract Surety Account management including:

      • Work closely with the Underwriting area to ensure account management expectations are met
      • Review active files regularly to guarantee all essential underwriting information is current
      • Create new accounts in Surety management systems
      • Review and process reported bonds to confirm accuracy, and assign proper risk classification
      • Input new business and change requests to bond policies
      • Input Financials and Work-in-Progress reports into management system
      • Process contract status reports to ensure timely project closeouts (overrun/underrun billings)
      • Collaboration between multiple areas including underwriters, agents and CSRs

      Prior surety experience is preferred as well as a collaborative approach, growth mindset, and great attention to detail.

      As a Senior Analyst, you'll work on moderately complex business and/or system processes, analysis, design, implementation and operations. Your work will include analyzing existing processes, procedures and methods to ensure and promote effective business and systems operations. You will build process changes by integrating new processes with existing ones and may coordinate and implement proposed process and procedure improvements.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Designs, develops, configures, customizes, documents, deploys, maintains and upgrades business and system processes and procedures.

      • Performs day-to-day operations of business and systems processes, including the operation of process-related tools. Facilitates key process events and fulfills customer requests and process results through all phases of the process life cycle.

      • Initiates, enables and supports process redesign and/or re-engineering initiatives and projects through continuous process improvements, under minimal guidance. Identifies and markets new and creative process redesigns.

      • Performs process evaluations and develops recommendations by use of benchmarks, pilots, prototyping and modeling to assess potential use of new methods and workflows within a business and/or system process. Evaluates processes for design effectiveness and resource utilization to ensure process performance meets targeted service levels.

      • Develops and provides recommendations on possible process, tool and control improvements to increase the quality and optimization of business services and resources.

      • Works, under limited direction, with customers and project teams to develop business cases and comprehensive project plans to identify, quantify and deliver process design efforts in support of business objectives.

      • Participates on a project team involved with the development, implementation, administration and operation of new processes, which may include multiple functions, product lines and business activities. Facilitates post-implementation and reviews for moderately complex processes to ensure conformance to requirements.

      • Implements, maintains and operates basic process design, operational and measurement tools and methods in order to design, operate, monitor and improve processes.

      • Maintains collaborative relationships with vendors, partners and suppliers to support customer or systems plans. Participates in service evaluations regarding outside consulting service vendors.

      • Provides training and guidance for less experienced staff.

      May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

      Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager/Director and does not have direct reports.

      Typical Skills and Experiences:


      Education: Undergraduate degree in areas related to business or mathematics.

      License/Certification/Designation: Process-related certifications desired.

      Experience: Typically, three or more years of experience in business process design or operations.

      Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Maintains current understanding of business trends to support process design and operations to improve performance. Proven ability to analyze or operate moderately complex processes and systems. Must possess process design or operation skills and be able to determine redesign effects on existing processes and tools. Must have moderate decision-making skills for process operation and design solution recommendations. Good communication skills to prepare and communicate process plans, procedures and results, as well as to interact with all levels within the company.

      Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

      Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the Director and Human Resources Officer.

      Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional travel, non-standard or extended work may be required based on project needs.

      Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range.

      The national salary range for Sr Analyst, Process Management : $47,500.00-$97,000.00

      The expected starting salary range for Sr Analyst, Process Management : $52,500.00 - $78,500.00
