What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and streamline clinical trial agreements and related contracts
- Collaborate with study and legal teams to ensure contract terms align with study needs and maintain strong site relationships
- Manage contract status tracking and reporting from draft to execution, ensuring readiness for inspections and audits
- Serve as an escalation point for contract language issues from external entities
- Analyze contract trends and support process improvements while mentoring site contracts analysts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in scientific or business disciplines; JD/Paralegal Certification preferred
- 4+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or academic medical center focusing on site contract and budget negotiations for Phase I-IV clinical trials
- Thorough understanding of clinical research processes, GCP, ICH standards, and FDA/EMA guidelines
- Knowledge of industry fair market value and standard legal terms
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills, both oral and written
