The creative team is composed of a team of individuals, tastemakers, and innovative thinkers, who collaborate on all levels of the brand's creative content, from product campaigns to the brand's digital ecosystem, retail, social media, and beyond. Key brand codes such as transparency, accessibility, and inclusivity inform our work and guide our unique culture.The Sr. Art Director will collaborate with an excellent design team to create multiple projects, such as the brand's book and corporate identity, as well as marketing assets for the brand's digital ecosystem, paid and physical locations – critical business and public-facing material. The Sr. Art Director will also participate in daily cross-functional collaborations to bring innovation to the brand identity and marketing content.This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Los Angeles Creative Studio located in the Art District and will report directly to our Creative Director.Responsibilities: Works closely with the Creative Director on the development of the brand's creative content, including campaign, editorial, and social assets (both print and digital).Works on research and creative decks to communicate creative concepts and product stories with cross-functional partners (including casting, location, lighting).Collaborates with the photo team on set art direction for editorial and e-commerce photography, overseeing lighting, posing, and styling.Collaborates with the styling team on developing product stories for creative content across multiple marketing channels.Works with the post-production team on photoshoots post-production (from selects to retouching, to asset management and organization).Collaborates with creative teams (post-production, designers, and copywriters) on the development of layouts for marketing assets for print and digital channels.Oversees the creative team's visual execution for the brand's site and digital ecosystems, such as landing pages and collection pages.Manages a team of graphic designers in-house on content creation.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and innovate customer experiences.Contributes to the development of the brand's corporate identity across all touchpoints.Qualifications: 5+ years of design and art direction experience, preferably in-house or at a creative agency.Design capabilities in type, layout, and design fundamentals.Passionate about image creation and graphic design for both stills and motion.Deep knowledge of photography and visual design.Interest in fashion trends, brands, styling, and product creation.Knowledge of Figma, Adobe Suite, Bridge, and Builder.Compensation: California Resident: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. The annual compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. This range is based on the Los Angeles geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.Everlane is deeply committed to respecting and protecting your data privacy.
