- Collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute communication plans from initial contact through matriculation, including CRS mailings and admissions communications.
- Manage communications with prospective students using Unite and Slate databases.
- Implement recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of high-quality applicants, adhering to legal constraints.
- Coordinate on-campus recruiting events, including application workshops, open houses, and admitted student activities.
- Manage Calendly schedules for admissions advising and campus visits.
- Manage and develop content for SCU Law's Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media accounts.
- Serve as the website update point of contact.
- Act as the primary reviewer of JD applications.
- Work with the Admissions Committee, Sr. Assistant Dean, and Director to establish admission policies that promote diversity and academic excellence.
- Review and improve application processing procedures.
- Provide backup support to the Director of Law Enrollment.
- Manage the admissions inbox and communication with current and prospective students.
- Advise and communicate with stakeholders about admissions processes.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, social media, etc.
- Counsel prospective students regarding enrollment preparation.
- Verify compliance with ABA and LSAC guidelines when necessary.
- Keep management informed of issues and suggest process improvements.
- Offer counseling services for students and visitors on admissions and financial aid.
- Coordinate with other offices on general admissions and financial aid matters.
- Manage relationships with LSAC, WCC, LEAP, and undergraduate groups.
- Coordinate with Law External Relations and other stakeholders to meet engagement goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Law Admissions team.
- Delegate tasks and ensure staffing coverage during peak times.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet engagement goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Director of Law Enrollment and the Sr. Assistant Dean of Enrollment Strategy and Operations, the Sr. Assistant Director of Law Admissions, Recruitment, and Engagement (Assistant Director) is responsible for implementing recruitment, engagement, communication, and admissions strategies for JD programs. Working with the Faculty Admissions Committee and the Director of Law Enrollment, the Sr. Assistant Director oversees operations to achieve admissions and enrollment targets, aiming for the enrollment of high-quality students and increased awareness of Santa Clara Law programs.

IV. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; minimum of 3 years experience in customer service, outreach, or engagement activities. Admissions experience is preferred. Basic financial aid knowledge is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, commitment to Inclusive Excellence, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and evaluate operations. Familiarity with Workday, Unite, Slate, Google Suite, Canva, T4, and Excel is preferred.
V. Physical Demands
Time spent at a desk using a computer, travel to campus buildings, attendance at recruiting events, and occasional night/weekend work.
VI. Work Environment
Typical office environment, outdoor events, and travel to recruitment sites. May encounter noise and interruptions.
