      Responsibilities · Utilize analytical and forensic email review skills to audit Merchandising negotiations to recover missed funding for the most complex Merchandising Vendors. Leverage in-depth knowledge base of all Merchandising concepts and programs and recovery industry knowledge to ensure all recoveries for all concepts are captured (including but not limited to Vendor Agreement change(s) and impact, Gross vs Net and impact, Core Returns and impact, Devals, Pricing, and all other Over & Above funding/negotiations). 3rd Party vendors to recover less than 10% behind Senior Auditor. · Negotiate and communicate flawlessly with Merchandising and Vendors to successfully resolve claims and recover all vendor funding dollars due AutoZone. · Assist the Manager in the US Annual Audit Startup to include the following: extract, build, and analyze/test critical datasets to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the Vendor Funding Audit Tool, update the Vendor Funding Tool for all static and live datasets and test for maximum performance, retrieve 4k+ images, and archive all previous audit datasets. · Responsible for extraction and testing of New Store, MegaHub, Gift Card, and Bonus Rewards Data. Supervise Auditor in the collection of supplemental items (circulars, window signs etc.) to support the audit. · Responsible for the PO Data process: weekly extraction, testing, and reporting of stats, to ensure data accuracy and availability for upcoming Audit; collaborate with Senior Manager as needed. Assist with special projects as identified. · Assist the Manager with Mexico data and email to include the following: build Mexico email case for US and Mexico 3rd Party team, analyze and test critical datasets to understand the differences in Mexico data/processes vs. US, update the Mexico VF Tool, and create reporting to identify potential areas of VF opportunity while reducing 3rd Party recovery fees. Collaborate with 3rd Party Senior Auditor to leverage learnings from the Mexico 3rd Party review; provide updates to VF Team on Mexico best practices. · Coach audit staff in processes and procedures used in Vendor Funding audits. Provide insight to VF team members on best practices and unique claim types on a weekly basis. Ability to synthesize complex and diverse information, as well as to translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent eye for detail with ability to identify trends and patterns of information from data utilized when validating and incorporating datasets in VF Tool and when reviewing vendors. Excellent negotiation and communication skillsets are necessary for claim presentation, discussion, and optimal resolution. Drive to continuously innovate and improve processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in VF Review. Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across the company. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and generate creative ideas to improve processes and performance. Time (%) Primary Accountability 55% - Review and analyze vendor information (vendor agreements, invoices, emails, etc.) to identify funding not recovered from the most complex Merchandising Vendors. Analysis includes researching and identifying new areas of opportunity to recover missed vendor funding. 10% - Coach audit staff in processes and procedures used in Vendor Funding audits. Provide insight to VF team members on best practices and unique claim types on a weekly basis. 25% - Data Responsibilities: · Assist the Manager in the US Annual Audit Startup to include the following: extract, build, and analyze/test critical datasets to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the Vendor Funding Audit Tool, update the Vendor Funding Tool for all static and live datasets and test for maximum performance, retrieve 4k+ images, and archive all previous audit datasets. Own the PO Data process: weekly extraction, testing, and reporting of stats, to ensure data accuracy and availability for upcoming Audit; collaborate with Senior Manager as needed. Own extraction and testing of Gift Card, Item Flag, New Store, and MegaHub Data. Responsible for supervising Auditor in the collection of supplemental items (circulars, window signs etc.) to support the audit. Assist with special projects as identified. · Assist the Manager with annual Mexico data and email requirements, to include the following: identify all Merch custodians to successfully create/build emails to support audit efforts, analyze and test critical datasets to understand the differences in Mexico data/processes vs. US, update the Mexico VF Tool, and create reporting to identify potential areas of VF opportunity while reducing 3rd Party recovery fees. 10% - Communicate and negotiate with Auditors, Vendors, and all levels of Merchandising on claim approval process while managing Vendor/Internal abrasion. Education A Bachelor’s degree (BBA or BA) in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred Minimum 4 years’ experience in Specialized Forensic Recovery Audit, utilizing analytic and forensic skills to audit Merchandising negotiations and internal systems High efficiency with Data Analytics – Access, Excel, Rocket Shuttle, SQL Management Studio, SAS, Veritas Discovery Accelerator, Documentum, and PeopleSoft Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skillsets Ability to develop ad hoc analytical tools and numerical modeling of complex operations systems and processes and generate bold, creative ideas to improve processes and performance #LI-CT #LI-HYBRID
