- Assists in managing medical, prescription drug, dental, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, and other ancillary health and welfare programs.
- Provides analysis of all plan costs and trends and recommend strategies for cost control.
- Serve as a subject matter expert of the health & welfare plans.
- Supports the management of the vendor relationships including an ongoing, systematic RFP process.
- Assists in negotiating and managing contracts and ensure all contracts have performance standards.

Additional Information About the RoleBJC HealthCare is looking for a Sr. Benefits Consultant to join the team! This role will support the entire system with annual enrollment, system implementations and vendor management. This integral role also acts as a resource to other team members and will handle escalated benefit inquiries. Ideal candidates should be proficient in EXCEL and have benefit auditing experience. Remote opportunity within the Greater St. Louis or Kansas City area.
