- Lead our efforts in monitoring data quality and processes across multiple platforms, from raw file and object stores to relational databases and the dashboards and reports that rely on them, to ensure our data is accurate for end users.
- Take the lead in developing improvements to those workflows and processes that enhance the accuracy and timeliness of our data.
- Assist in the design and planning of how new data sources or data details will integrate into those existing processes.
- Assist in the monitoring and management of report usage and the retirement or sunsetting of reports as the need for them declines.
- Help support ad hoc needs for BI analysts as they emerge.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in working or leading on data quality & processing work described by the role, as demonstrated by:
- Experience in working with data in both raw formats (e.g., JSON, HDFS, S3) and transformations into relational databases and data warehouses (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience in working with tools to connect, manage and move data across those platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Glue, Informatica).
- Strong SQL/PL SQL proficiency.
- Experience in creating dashboards and reports on platforms like PowerBI and Tableau to help monitor data workflows and uncover root causes of errors to accelerate fixes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a team-player mentality, including the ability to clearly describe hypothesis and findings related to complex data and problems.
- A self-starter, problem solving mentality with a proven ability to create plans and take initiative to successfully execute on assigned tasks and problems.

As a Sr. BI Systems Analyst, you’ll play a leading role in helping define, manage and monitor the workflow, lineage and quality of our data across multiple platforms and for multiple end users and use cases. This role is data intensive and requires strong technical capabilities in working with and managing data in a variety of states – from raw, big data stored in platforms like S3 and HDFS to transformed data in relational database – and the tools and technologies used to do so.
