Location/Division Specific Information

This position will be based in Bangalore, India in the APAC Data and Automation team within Digital Solutions Asia

Discover Impactful Work:

This is a multifaceted position covering technology, people, process, and strategies for the APAC data team that support the APJ region and country teams. You will prioritize the solutioning and product roadmaps in the Supply Chain domain in APJ region

A day in the Life:

• Lead entire product lifecycle right from requirement collection to release planning.

• Engage with data engineering team, visualization team, data governance team and multi-functional product owners for execution.

• Collaborate with business to analyze complex data needs, and the challenges associated with it to drive data to value through operational efficiencies, process redesign, change impact assessments etc.

• Leverage data and analytics techniques to identify and analyse business needs, identify requirements, and define the scope and objectives to enable value opportunities.

• Support teams with detailed information about data sources and metrics to speed up their analysis and data pipeline work.

• Prepare and deliver reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.

• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.

Experience

• 6 to 8 years of demonstrable experience as a business analyst/ data analyst/ statistical analyst role

• Individual need to have solid background in Supply Chain Planning and Analytics Domain.

• Experience leading large-scale analytics and/or automaton projects BI solutions development using AWS technologies –Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling

• Good knowledge of visualization tools like Power BI

• Data Science know how is a major plus

• Superb communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to optimally connect with both business and technical teams

• Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to influence others, and exceptional organizational skills
