- Ability to perform industry research to determine best practices for Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery testing.
- Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing environments and how they operate.
- 4-8 years work experience with knowledge of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning techniques. Experience with cloud computing environments and operations. Experience with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery principles and how they apply to the corporate environment.

- Provide direction to all areas of the Bank and Information Technology for the execution of regular disaster recovery tests, including but not limited to:
- Critical Applications
- Staffing Resources required
- Playbook planning and maintenance
- Bank-wide test plans
- Issue identification and resolution
- Drafting of test documentation
- Provide direction to all areas of the Bank and Information Technology for the execution of Cloud-based disaster recovery tests, including but not limited to:
- Instance Recovery within an Availability Zone
- Instance recovery across Availability Zones
- Instance recovery across Regions
- Provide support for the development of the Cloud-based Disaster Recovery Strategy

Sr. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Specialist (4-8 years experience)
Location : New York / Jersey City - 3 days in the office - Must be vaccinated
Salary : 150-160K+ 10% Bonus + Pension
Must have the following skills:
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity are critical processes at the Bank and the roles that support these processes are critical during disruptions and emergencies in order to ensure such events do not negatively impact the Bank. The new hire is intended to execute the responsibilities of a Sr. Business Continuity Specialist which will require knowledge equal to any member of the team should a member be unavailable. The new hire should be able to assume any role on the team, which if unavailable would negatively impact the Bank if there were to be a disruption event.
Education-
Bachelor's Degree Preferred, Experience in place of education acceptable.
