- Gather and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the sales and marketing departments.
- Drive data-informed decision-making by designing dashboards, building out key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing self-service tools to empower internal teams.
- Collaborate with business units across CD and TPO channels to define reporting needs, optimize data usage, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance business strategies.
- Partner with leadership to develop reports that track risk, operational performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction, supporting overall business success.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources to create cohesive datasets in Power BI.
- Design dashboards and write code to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions using SQL and Power BI.
- Oversee and manage tickets within Lakeview’s Originations and Correspondents reporting pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Research and analyze key business requirements needed for report requests to translate into analytical solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business initiatives and address specific inquiries from stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and report accuracy by conducting regular quality checks, troubleshooting discrepancies, and validating data across systems.
- Act as the subject matter expert on mortgage reporting tools, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Provide guidance and education to other Business Intelligence Analysts as necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field. Preferably with a focus on the mortgage banking industry
- Encompass and servicing platform experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, and PowerQuery.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, PowerBI, Snowflake, and SSMS.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders, particularly executives or senior leaders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

OverviewThe Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst is responsible for developing, publishing, and maintaining a comprehensive catalog of key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports across functional areas of the mortgage business. This includes building and validating metrics, integrating datasets, monitoring data quality, analyzing data, and interpreting results to provide actionable insights that drive business value. The role offers high visibility and cross-functional collaboration across all departments within the Consumer Direct (CD) and Third-Party Originations (TPO) channels. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in mortgage banking.
This 100% remote role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $115,000, an annual bonus, medical benefits starting on day one, and a company-matched 401(k).
