- Become SME for multiple line-of-business applications and areas
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align development efforts with the greatest value for Boston Beer
- Design products, features, and user stories at the right level of detail for each target audience
- Create solutions to drive revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Create sprint, quarterly, and annual plans to meet stakeholder needs
- Support software engineering teams in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Manage schedules, deployments, and maintenance of systems
- Independently drive projects and features from initiation to successful adoption and maintenance
- Understand testing methodologies and effectively plan, manage, and monitor testing efforts
- Incorporate and drive the inclusion of appropriate testing into the SDLC
- Manage contract development resources
- Take a leadership role in defining solutions to business problems
- Develop and implement solutions to business problems
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
- 5+ years working directly with engineering teams
- 5+ years of Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or Program Manager experience
- 3+ years of leading Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development lifecycles
- Proven track record of managing projects across all phases of the SDLC
- Proven track record designing effective products, features, and capabilities
- Experience defining measurable targets and goals, such as KPI-s, OKR-s, SLA/SLO-s
- Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello, or TFS

We are currently hiring a Sr. Business Systems Analyst in Boston, MA (Hybrid).
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be a part of the IT Business Systems team and will be responsible for owning and driving the planning, architecting, designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing of our systems related to ordering, merchandizing, pricing approvals, and other line-of-business processes.
This includes working with internal and external users and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that leverage technology to meet the needs of the business, ensuring continued systems functionality, responding to user issues and requests, and leveraging existing technology to meet additional business needs.

In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $75,000 – $150,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
