      Sr. Consulting Analyst (Business Incentives)

      Job Description Summary

      The Business Incentives Senior Analyst works with a team to provide complex incentive consulting services to corporate clients. The Senior Analyst identifies incentive opportunities, provides related analysis for a variety of locations for each project and participates in the management of day-to-day client management activities. The Senior Analyst also identifies implications driven by client operations and works with management to develop solutions for each client’s unique needs. The Senior Analyst must have an entrepreneurial mind set.

      Job Description

      Responsibilities:

      • Build and update complex opportunity analysis, including discounted cash flow models.
      • Analyze input data provided by clients and their external consultants and ensuring models accurately reflect this information;
      • Use Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other applicable presentation tools;
      • Ensure presentations are clear, address client questions and goals;
      • Assist in presenting to clients, including attending client meetings;
      • Collaborate with other departments within the firm, to assist with streamlining processes and help deliver a high and insightful service to clients;
      • Work with clients to prepare applications and work with Senior Consultants to prepare annual filings required to capture negotiated incentives
      • Keep up to date with market developments and identify areas of risks and/or opportunities for existing and future clients.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred;

      • 3+ years of consulting experience, preferably in corporate tax, finance; State and Local Tax or Incentive experience a plus;
      • Strong knowledge and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
      Physical Requirements
      • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer
      • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
      • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
      • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
      • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
      • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
      • Some travel will be required
