      Sr. Corporate Counsel & Legal Operations

      Position Summary:

      Job Description:

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Maintains corporate formalities and advises on corporate structure changes
      • Participates and often owns meetings as representative of legal team.
      • Studies, reviews, investigates, and develops policies and practices pertaining to the organization.
      • Organize and prioritize critical issues to facilitate efficient decision making
      • Acts as a liaison with various partners to handle legal risk to the company.
      • Assists the Chief Legal Officer and under the CLO's guidance, serves as legal counsel to various organizational activities.
      • Advises on technology innovations and licensing agreements.
      • Supervise, coach, support, and mentor legal assistants, paralegals, or other counsel.
      • Research, review, and advise on legal issues related to various strategic initiatives.
      • Coordinates knowledge management, document management, and tooling to streamline legal processes and enable effective collaboration.
        - Develops performance metrics and reporting systems to evaluate the effectiveness of the legal department.
      • Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the legal department, including the implementation of technology solutions and process improvements

      Qualifications

      • JD from an accredited law school
      • 8-10+ years of experience in corporate/digital health transactions and technology or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
      • 5+ years of leadership experience in a federally regulated environment or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
      • Admission or eligibility to be admitted to the Missouri Bar
      • Proven experience in corporate, digital health and healthcare sectors.
      • Significant experience interacting with government agencies and regulators
      • Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resource procedures and regulations
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to create and deliver technical, informational, and other types of programs and effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally
      • Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization, as well as external parties
      • Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives while supporting the decision making and tracking of those initiatives
      • Prepare recommendations and updates of operational objectives
      • Organize and prioritize critical issues to facilitate efficient decision making
      • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent project management skills with the proven ability to yield results
      • Highly skilled at collaboration and team building, including mentoring, developing, motivation, and supporting a cross-functional team with all levels internally and externally
      • Proven ability to own, guide, and prioritize complex legal projects
      • Ability to oversee outside counsel and ensure effective use of departmental resource
      • Excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with the ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

      Pay Transparency:

      Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.

      The hiring range for this position is:

      $153,800.00-$210,650.00
