What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide booking support for air, hotel, car, and related services using the SABRE reservation system
- Assist advisors in managing corporate accounts and provide vacation coverage
- Conduct research on destinations and travel advisories to meet customer needs
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accurate reservation records
- Handle customer service issues and support special projects as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a full-time travel agent with domestic and international booking
- Proficient in SABRE with over 5 years of experience, including knowledge of GDS formats and ticketing
- Ability to handle challenging situations independently and escalate when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and proactive customer service approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with additional GDS systems such as Worldspan or Travelport
- Familiarity with ClientBase software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities
