      We are seeking a Sr. Customer Onboarding Specialist supporting our Pharmacy and Specialty distribution customers. Applicants can be located anywhere in the US, with a preference of the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area or LaVergne, TN.

      Job Summary

      Serves as the primary pre-sale point of contact for clients/customers that have committed to utilizing McKesson as their wholesaler of choice. Uses in-depth knowledge of compliance and business rules, deep knowledge of the customer onboarding requirements of buying group and GPO partners, and technical expertise to drive and increase successful onboarding of new business opportunities. Demonstrates competency in supply chain and key business partner processes/requirements. May provide reporting and regular communication to field sales (and customers) on onboarding progress. Holds direct responsibility for onboarding and quality assurance of new business accounts and logistics. Ensures best practices are exercised in documentation of all new business account requirements. May handle escalations and coordinate across functional areas of the company, including Credit, Contract Administration, Regulatory, Finance, Training, and/or Support.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Responsible for the analysis and end-to-end implementation of new customers. Ensure that all requirements for pricing, GPO enrollment, regulatory, and credit are met to release new business accounts for ordering.

      • The specialist is responsible for providing first contact resolution, advocacy, issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders/customers. Work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders to provide implementation progress reports, ad hoc request, special projects, and providing actionable insight for strategic decision-making.

      • Ensure all workflow submissions are accurate and timely for new business implementations. Perform detailed analyses and review of processes/transactions with a strict adherence to SOX compliance, business rules of supporting business partners, and other company policies.

      • Acts as a project lead and works with all departments of McKesson directly related to new customer implementations. Will ensure all SLAs are met by all internal partners to release an account in a timely manner.

      • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data from a variety of reporting resources, including SAP, Smartsheets, and Salesforce to drive consolidated analyses and reporting to field sales and customers.

      • Proactively seek ways to continuously improve processes to achieve greater efficiencies and better controls. Work to facilitate business problem solving and present hypotheses and recommendations to leadership.

      • Additional duties support new customer implementations as assigned.

      Business Experience

      • Typically has 2+ years of experience in project management, sales support, operations, or administration.

      • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, project management and business acumen.

      • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

      Minimum Education/Training

      Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

      Critical Skills:

      • 4 +years of experience in project management, sales support, operations, or administration.

      • Exceptional organizational skills, demonstrated through the efficient management and prioritization of tasks and projects.

      • Experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or project management

      • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

      • Innovative – thinks outside the box, seeks creative solutions, and delves deep to enhance customer experience.


      Additional Knowledge & Skills:

      • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

      • Smartsheet, Tableau, SQL, MS Access knowledge a plus

      • Working knowledge of SAP and/or Sales Force

      • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and business acumen

      • Knowledge of McKesson's customer base in specialty a plus

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $57,200 - $95,400
