- Apply advanced analytics techniques (data mining, visualization, statistical analysis, causal inference, regression, machine learning, time-series forecasting) to large-scale data to inform global business decisions.
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet needs and content opportunities.
- Use causal inference methodologies to quantify engagement and the impact of sharing title licenses.
- Predict content engagement to guide acquisition decisions.
- Optimize content launch and episode release strategies.
- Test merchandising strategies to enhance engagement and retention.
- Develop new metrics and KPIs for content performance, engagement, and churn.
- Support complex projects and new initiatives, managing scope, resources, and stakeholder relationships.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing solutions.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business growth.
- Communicate insights effectively through compelling data storytelling.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of analytical experience.
- Experience developing machine learning models and performing data analysis with Python and/or R.
- Experience querying cloud databases with SQL.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems.
- Excellent data storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, JupyterLab.
- Ability to explain models and algorithms to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data solutions using Databricks, S3, Spark.
- Master's degree in relevant fields.
- Passion for media and entertainment.

The salary range varies by location: Santa Monica, CA ($114,900 - $154,100), New York, NY ($120,300 - $161,300), San Francisco, CA ($125,800 - $168,700). Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
