What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with IT to perform complex analysis and report on data retention, data governance, and privacy practices
- Assist in the provision of legal response and proper recordkeeping in the event of data privacy and security incidents
- Provide compliant responses to privacy-related inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze SAAS contracts to map out the flow of data from USAble to vendors, sub-processors, and subcontractors
- Identify and develop data-driven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in coordination with Compliance Counsel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and Management or related field
- 5+ years of related experience in data privacy, information security, or data incident management
- Knowledge of data privacy laws, regulations, cybersecurity, and IT risk management concepts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop, deploy, and manage meaningful KPIs and performance measures
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Information Science and Management or related field
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification
- Certified KPI Professional
