- 7+ years of experience in data analytics environments Microsoft PowerBI, Extensive DAX and PowerQuery (M) language experience in PowerBI
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with AWS solutions - Azure data platform, experience with Azure functions and services
- Ability to test, identify and troubleshoot report and dataset issues
- General understanding of Relational database functionality including security, table structures, data modelling, user management, etc.
- ITSM + Asset/CMDB knowledge is an asset
- Dynatrace, Aternity, lakeside knowledge is an added advantage

Responsibilities:
Power Business Intelligence (BI) experience and a good understanding of BI architecture. Use best practice standards and methods in data modelling, data architecture, data platforms and agile delivery.
Work independently as a senior lead and direct activities related to analysis, design and support of technical data management solutions on various projects ranging in complexity and size.
Utilizes an advanced understanding of multiple data structures and sources to lead the design, development and implementation of decision solutions, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, or data collection
Leverage data to provide meaningful insights to business leaders and use BI tools to support operational processes by delivering data visualization reports and dashboards
Use statistical and machine learning techniques to build and maintain effective and efficient transaction monitoring, user behavior, and risk scoring models
Develops innovative approaches to address complex business problems and solutions, assisting with business cases
Work with business leadership to define business intelligence requirements, Key performance indicators (KPI), priorities and data solutions
Expert knowledge of Python, SAS, SQL and R are essential
Extensive work experience building predictive models with machine learning methods
Ability to apply statistical techniques and data mining tools to solve business problem
Significant experience building UI mockups and optimizing dashboard for user experience
Intermediate to advanced understanding of MDX/DAX language for improving visuals and formatting numbers, dates, and text.
Experience with row level security and custom visuals, Power Query, Power Apps and keeping up to date on the new features of Power BI
Hands-on experience of SQL and Python for data access and basic transformation
Experience in various forms of data modeling of relational schema, including both physical and conceptual modeling
Experience in query optimization, debugging and automation
Excellent written and oral communication, analytical and presentation skills, including ability to communicate with individuals from various backgrounds
Familiarity with an agile development process
