What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with stakeholders to influence and drive a data governance culture and meet regulatory commitments
- Define, build, and manage frameworks, procedures, and workflows for data governance policies
- Build and manage complex data catalogs, lineage, and quality monitoring services
- Take a central role in requirements gathering, design, development, training, and adoption of data governance tools
- Monitor and report on user adoption and application of data governance policies and frameworks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing data governance frameworks and procedures
- Strong understanding of RACI models for designing frameworks and workflows
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with business and technology partners
- Experience developing and using data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview or Monte Carlo
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, data management, computer science, or equivalent experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- DAMA CDMP Associate or higher certification
- Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate certification
- Experience working in SaaS-based business technology architectures
- Knowledge of EDM Council Cloud Data Management Capabilities Assessment (CDMC)
- Exposure to DAMA Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBoK)
