      There’s no better time to be a Citizen! We are growing and looking to add to our Marketing Optimization team.

      The Senior Data Scientist will be part of the List Management team within Marketing Optimization, supporting Enterprise Marketing in launching Marketing Campaigns that meet acquisition and retention goals. This includes working with Marketing managers to solidify and understand requirements, working with manager/ team-members and converting requirements into list selection criteria, QA/QC the list and ensure timely delivery of files to various vendors and systems.

      This role will serve as the Advanced Analytics / Data Science support for an Agile team within the agile marketing area of the Bank. This Senior Data Scientist will report within an Advanced Analytics team to enable collaboration, the sharing of analytical ideas, and the alignment of best practices

      Primary responsibilities include:

      • Execute projects and coordinate work across Enterprise Marketing, Mail/print Vendors, data providers and ensure timely and flawless delivery of list generation activities
      • Execution and delivery of various campaign lists. This includes supporting campaigns for products like Checking, Deposits, Wealth, Credit Cards, and Home Lending and covering all channels including but not limited to Direct Mail, Email, Call Center, Mobile App and Online Banking
      • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the data sources and effectively interpret requests from the marketing team, contributing to the establishment of new campaign list production processes
      • Implement standards and quality controls to ensure accuracy and consistency, and automate where possible to streamline processes
      • Conduct thorough investigations into customer-related issues within the list production processes, actively engaging with the team to identify the most effective solutions that guarantee customer satisfaction
      • Ensure compliance and adherence to all federal and state regulations, customer contact rules & customer preferences.
      • Document all the list generation processes and keep evidence of all approvals and exceptions

      Our preference would be to have a chosen candidate with onsite capabilities in one of our corporate headquarters, however we are open to remote employment within the United States for the ideal candidate.

      Required Skills/Experience:

      • 4+ years of experience in quantitative analytics including marketing analytics, database marketing and/or quantitative modeling, with experience in Financial Services preferred
      • 1+ years of experience in List generation function which includes defining, developing, deploying campaign lists across various channels
      • 4+ years of experience in SAS and/or related programming languages
      • 2+ years of experience in using external and internal customer/prospect data for sizing, analysis , targeting etc…
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills required with an ability to successfully communicate analytic results, business insights and resulting business implications to non-technical business partners
      • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues who have a background in statistics, database development/maintenance, and information technology
      • Ability to operate independently, requiring little manager oversight
      • Strong programming skills and ability to utilize a variety of data/analytic software languages/tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python, Splus, etc.)

      Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Engineering/ Physics required, Master’s Degree preferred

      Hours and Work Schedule:

      • Hours per Week: 40
      • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
