- Optimizes and develops devices and processes to lead to device characterization. Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of an individual contributor.
- Performs specialized design and develops devices, understands the process integration that leads to device characterization
- Optimize devices by understanding semiconductor device physics, and device manufacturing process associated.
- Conduct various analytical and physics-based models and or process integration methods
- Enables new features with efficiency for new technologies, features, or device introduction
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Work and collaboration with other projects and/or assignments as needed

Summary of Role:
Main responsibility is design, execution, and analysis of experiments aimed at the creation and optimization of leading-edge silicon technology in advanced packaging within a development environment. This includes both physical and electrical data analysis, as well as extensive interaction with other technology development teams (process integration, reliability, product line management, reference design and modeling team). In addition to the achievement of industry-leading device characteristics, variability and reliability must be monitored and controlled to ensure manufacturability. Interaction with customer design groups is also a facet of this position to define technology requirements and parametric goals for GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology roadmaps

Required Qualifications:
Background in process technology, device characterization and packaging strongly preferred.
Electrical engineering degree or similar.
BS + 2-4 years of experience
MS + 1-3 year
PhD + 0-1 yearExpected Salary Range
$65,400.00 - $145,800.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
