      What you'll be doing

      As a Senior DevOps Consultant, you will be joining CIBC’s SPT (Shared Platform Technologies) and ECIS (Enterprise Customer Information System) to assist in accelerating our transformation and optimizing the way we develop and deliver code to bring high value to our clients. You will collaborate with partners in application development, quality assurance, operations, infrastructure, and business across various technology groups to deliver high-quality products.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

      How you'll succeed

      • Strategy and Roadmap- Contribute to governance & audit roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives.

      • Stakeholder Management- Work closely with various stakeholders to address compliance gaps. Develop and maintain corporate governance framework, policies, and procedures.

      • Relationship Building- Serve as a liaison between management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

      • Leveraging Technology- Become a technology expert by ensure that ECIS adheres to statutory, regulatory and industry standards.

      Who you are

      • You can demonstrate experience : 7+ years of experience working in IT industry with preferred background in Java/Python/NodeJS development and Middleware administration of available environment. You have a strong understanding of DevOps concepts/methodologies, principles and tools (IBM UrbanCode , Ansible), as well as CI/CD toolset. You have previous experience of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and have strong scripting skills (Bash, Python & Go). You have experience in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace) and have built a dashboard for large scale applications. You understand cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
