Optimize how EIT runs as a business in collaboration with key business partners (e.g., finance, enterprise procurement) by leading various continuous improvement and benchmarking initiatives.
Oversee management information and key performance indicators within EIT that reflect the day-to-day operations and other relevant metrics
Enable OLG to manage its strategic technology vendor relationships including fostering capabilities to support effective enterprise IT sourcing strategies, technology procurement, and technology vendor management in alignment with internal partners.
Oversee the portfolio of technology work to ensure maximum return on investment and contributions to enterprise objectives along with optimized service delivery.
Oversee the IT finance processes that reside within EIT in alignment with OLG's Finance department including the execution of financial management, annual budgeting, and forecasting/planning .
Lead the definition and implementation of multi-speed technology delivery practices across the organization, including agile, hybrid and waterfall/project management methods when suitable.
Lead the project management capability within EIT that supports the delivery of projects and programs as a part of multi-speed delivery while staying aligned with other areas of project management within OLG.
Establish a continuous improvement practice for Enterprise Technology processes enabled by key performance indicators for the division
Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for the department.
10+ years of experience in progressively senior leadership roles.
5+ years of experience in financial management and supplier/vendor management.
Proven ability to transform an organization from a traditional project practice into iterative business value delivery.
Experience working across both waterfall project management and within Agile Methodologies.
Experience working through the software development lifecycle with focus on value delivery as measured by business metrics and KPIs.
Experience managing continuous process improvement initiatives.
Post Secondary degree or diploma in business management, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Advanced Project, Scrum, Product Management or Product Owner certification preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and principles.
Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts to various audiences inclusive of executives and board members.
Excellent influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholder groups with diverse interests.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
Advanced strategic and conceptual thinking with strong ability to prioritize and apply risk management practices / frameworks.
Ability to effectively inspire, motivate and empower team members.

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Senior Director IT Business Management. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming the processes, frameworks and enabling capabilities that exist within EIT with a focus on accelerating our ability to drive business value. The role focuses on running EIT like a business, responsible for the management functions such as IT portfolio management, financial management and technology vendor management, in collaboration with enterprise functions (e.g., corporate finance, corporate procurement). This includes ownership of the adoption and ongoing stewardship of multi-speed technology delivery enablement practices, and standards (agile, hybrid, waterfall) that enable modern delivery of products, projects, and services.
