- Leading strategic CPG relationships focused on our RMN offering that aligns with other merchant and marketing initiatives ensuring alignment with client and ACI priorities.
- Leading the development of strategic plans that reflect each client’s business priorities and the unique ways The Collective can help them achieve those goals.
- Strategic oversight of the client-facing team, their selling strategies and their ability to bring the best of The Collective to each client.
- Collaborative partnerships with merchants (national and divisional) to ensure merchants are also engaged in the pre-sell of The Collective to accelerate sales growth for clients and revenue growth for ACI.
- Pipeline and sales process management to ensure the full client-facing team and related support capabilities are united in their approach to selling and servicing clients.
- Achieving revenue forecast period by period, quarter by quarter and annually with precision.
- Adjusting sales approach and staff as needed to ensure we are selling in a way that reflects our values of partnership and transparency while also being effective in driving growth.
- Lead people and foster the growth of our talent to help achieve company goals while creating a supportive culture centered around our purpose and values.
- 15+ years related sales, marketing experience with retail and/or CPG and ad tech.
- 5-10+ years agency experience a plus, (especially experience with retail clients)
- Extensive background and experience related to brand and retail strategy, consumer marketing and merchandising and retail marketing research and insights.
- Experience in consumer insights, and translating insights into a marketing idea
- Sound P & L skills and interpreting financial reports
- Strategic thinker willing to push the limits on traditional marketing to include big ideas
- Ability to work up and down the leadership range, with good flexibility to shift quickly between strategy and tactics
- Sound quantitative and analytical skills and abilities.
- Collaborative partner with ability to identify and engage with key influencers and decision makers
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable “on stage”
- Ability to lead agency partners
- Excellent at people management, building and leading teams.

What you will be doing
Retail Media is a recent focus for Albertsons with the building of an internal business unit, Albertsons Media Collective. The Collective is a strategic priority for Albertsons as it is identified as a key growth driver and was launched on March 1, 2022 with ambitious growth goals to quickly capture its rightful place next to other major retailer Retail Media Networks. The Sr. Director of Client Success is responsible for End-to-End strategies and execution across a focused Retail Media business.Main responsibilities
The salary range is $159,200 to $222,980 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
