Develop a comprehensive roadmap that translates marketing owner needs into effective CRM strategies and journeys
Build a lifecycle program that engages, nurtures, retains and grows subscriber base across multiple products and segments
Ensure seamless connection between CRM touchpoints to deliver a consistent and cohesive value proposition, using the right messaging mediums at the right moments to drive action
Act as the connective tissue between business owners (OEM, Retail, D2C), Product, Analytics, Marketing Ops, and Design to ensure high-impact, data-driven CRM.
Collaborate with leaders across the marketing organization to ensure that branding/messaging is consistent across marketing channels and touchpoints
Campaign Management & Performance:
Ensure every lifecycle campaign is insight-driven, rigorously tested, flawlessly executed, and tied to measurable KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, AR opt-ins, LTV).
Partner with the analytics team to build dashboards that provide transparency and insight into CRM performance and opportunities for stakeholders across the organization
Hire, develop, and mentor a team that executes lifecycle journeys across customer segments and stages.
Prioritization & Governance:
Lead CRM campaign planning processes to ensure alignment with strategic goals and available resources, maintaining transparency and velocity.
Measure initiatives and activity against impact, making the right trade offs to balance step change growth with incremental improvements
Assess and select best in class CRM toolset to drive subscriber engagement/retention, considering fit in enhanced Martech stack; partner with Marketing Operations, Product and Engineering to seamlessly migrate and implement
Continuously optimize and Innovate, encourage use of AI and other productivity tools to Improve efficiency and Impact
Evolve team, process and tools to drive personalization, segmentation, and experimentation at scale.
CRM campaigns measurably improve retention, engagement, and monetization KPIs
Business owners view CRM as a trusted partner and strategic enabler
Team is high-performing, collaborative, and executional excellent
CRM experimentation generates learnings and drives continuous improvement
12+ years of CRM, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing experience
5+ years of team leadership, including people management and cross-functional collaboration
Strong understanding of subscription, retention, and engagement levers
Data-driven and fluent in interpreting campaign results and user behavior
Experience with modern martech stacks, ESPs, CDPs, and A/B testing tools
Innovator who likes to break the mold and encourages team members and collaborators to embrace change and new ways of working
Excellent communicator who can operate at both strategic and execution levels

We are looking for a strategic and impact-driven Sr. Director of CRM. This role will be responsible for designing and executing world-class CRM programs that span the entire subscriber journey—from onboarding and engagement to retention and monetization. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep lifecycle marketing expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive meaningful business impact in close partnership with business owners and product leaders.
This is a Hybrid position located in either San Jose, CA or Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of the two locations and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.About the Role:

The starting pay range for this position is $185,660.00-$305,015.00. McAfee takes into consideration an individual’s skillset, experience and location in making final salary determinations.
