- Develop and Execute Partner Program Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive partner program strategy that aligns with company objectives, identifies priority partner segments for growth, and implements tailored go-to-market approaches across diverse partner types including resellers, integrators, and technology partners.
- Build and Manage Partner Ecosystem: Forge and cultivate strong, mutually beneficial partner relationships by establishing clear selection criteria, implementing robust onboarding and evaluation processes, and maintaining a diverse partner pipeline through comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and due diligence activities.
- Design and Implement Partner Programs: Develop and continuously optimize comprehensive partner programs featuring competitive incentives, training, certification, and support systems that attract partners, align with market needs, and deliver measurable results through data-driven performance monitoring and strategic adjustments.
- Administration and Infrastructure Development: Develop and continuously optimize comprehensive partner programs featuring competitive incentives, training, certification, and support systems that attract partners, align with market needs, and deliver measurable results through data-driven performance monitoring and strategic adjustments.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish comprehensive partnership KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure program success, monitor partner performance, identify ecosystem trends and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership that drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, customer success, legal, and finance teams to ensure aligned partner initiatives, develop robust agreements and pricing models, while providing leadership and mentorship that fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation within the partnerships team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred with 12+ years of experience in Partnerships & Alliances, partner end to end, partner program management, business development or a related role within the software/SaaS industry.
- 12+ years of team leadership and management, including executive-level engagement.
- Strong operational leader with proven track record of designing, developing, scaling and maturing partner programs that drive revenue growth, with entrepreneurial mindset for fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of AI and software technology landscape, SaaS business models, legal technology solutions, and current market trends with strong digital literacy.
- Ability to build and maintain deep relationships with partners, including experience working with global systems integrators and consulting firms, supported by a strong industry network.
- Expert business case development, financial modeling skills, and strategic thinking with ability to execute tactically and independently.
- Demonstrated global experience managing and developing high-performing teams with excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Strong executive presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Resourceful, highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in complex, dynamic environments while utilizing partnership management tools effectively.

Sr. Director, Partnerships & Alliances
Are you a strategic and innovative leader with a passion for driving growth through dynamic partnerships? We are seeking a visionary Senior Director of Partnerships & Alliances to join our team and spearhead the development of world-class partner programs. This role will report to the Vice President, Partnerships & Alliances and will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, building the necessary infrastructure, and scaling our partner programs to new heights. The Thomson Reuters Partner Program enables partners to unlock new opportunities, drive growth, and strengthen position as a trusted advisor to our customers and prospects. The partner program offers tailored support and benefits across partner roles, enabling the delivery of exceptional value to customers while accelerating partner growth.
The Senior Director, Partnerships & Alliances role will be responsible for executing against the vision, owning the daily operations and identifying success parameters. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in partner program management, strategic planning and relationship building within the software industry.
Location:
The successful candidates will ideally be based in one of our hub locations in Minneapolis, Dallas, New York or Toronto and work in a hybrid environment, spending a minimum of 3 days per week in office. We are open to a remote work arrangement for the right candidate.
