- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with senior internal and/or external customers. Intimately understands customers business strategies, generates new ideas, and product strategy that is appropriately aligned. This covers individual product strategy as well as an overarching strategy for portfolio/platform(s).
- Accountable and responsible for the business strategy, depending on the product.
- Creates, owns, plans, and manages a portfolio of high-quality products & services through a lifecycle of envisioning/investing/innovating. Defines KPIs and metrics to measure Product performance.
- Develops change management and communications plans and executes or drives execution connected with customer change initiatives.
- Leverages qualitative and quantitative data to create clear and measurable goals for the team aligned to company, department, and functional area objectives.
- Understand T-Mobile’s strategic and competitive position and deliver product experiences that are recognized as the best in the industry. Drives innovation, thought leadership, improvement, and adoption of industry-leading practices.
- Regularly conducts organizational design thinking/strategy to best structure the team and leverage resources, using a mix of employees, managed services, and other partners where applicable. This includes periodic reviews of current and anticipated aggregate staffing capacity.
- Develops and maintains culture, process, and consistent action for continuous improvement across Agile teams.
- Leads and directs the continual improvement of enterprise-scale services, processes, and tools.
- Assists direct reports with ongoing prioritization and resource allocation to ensure scope and outcomes are delivered.
- Develops and implements staff and operations models to support systems for efficient, continuous availability.
- Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team.

- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent (Required)
- 4-7 years Managing teams of 5 or more Manager level direct reports with skip-level employees. (Required)
- More than 10 years Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. Advanced level understanding of customer experience. (Required)
- Product Management Demonstrates complete mastery of business side skills (communication, customer research, product vision, feature definition). (Required)
- Customer Experience Management Mastery level (industry leading) understanding of customer experience (Required)
- Wireless In-depth subject matter expertise in several core wireless technology related areas. (Required)
- Software Development Mastery level understanding of platform technologies and components such as security, performance, optimization, API integration.
- Agile Methodologies Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams. (Required)
- Product Development Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. (Required)
- Technical Writing Mastery of requirements elicitation and writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. (Required)
- Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. (Required)
- DevOps Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. (Required)
- Communication Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, technical and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders. (Required)
- Mobile Software Experience with embedded mobile software platforms, and SW platforms such as Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.
- Previous experience working with mobile OEMs and chipset manufacturers. (Required)
- Business Analytics Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions. (Required)

Sr. Director, Product Management is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of T-Mobile's product experiences across data and AI for external commercialization. They will act as the primary interface to senior leadership in stakeholder functions and will be responsible for defining and driving the product roadmap to achieve an exceptional customer experience and impactful business outcomes.
This role leads teams of internal FTEs., and in some cases onshore and offshore contracting companies.
They are also responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing team of Product Managers, other product management staff to support data and AI products and platforms.
The Senior Director, Product Management will bring deep expertise in the product development lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration to establish a shared vision for the future generation of data and AI product experiences by building consensus across the company on priorities leading to product execution.Job Responsibilities:

Washington Pay Range : $197,800.00 - $267,600.00 The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
