Job Summary Responsible for directing reporting procedures in Product Sales Support and Analysis department. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals. The Sr. Director of Sales Operations position will manage a team and work closely with senior leadership. They should have at least 10 years’ experience in sales enablement and operations and several successful leadership roles. An MBA or Masters in a technical field is desired. The ideal candidate must have experience using a CRM and sales automation tools and have the ability to develop complex financial and operational models using spreadsheets and database software. Presentation and communication skills are also critical along with the ability to lead their team with empathy and collaboration. Job Description Core Responsibilities Partners with Product Sales Team leaders and Marketing management to identify key reports, functionality and system tasks to support the sales process and improve tracking, usage and trend identification. Manages partnership with Product Sales teams by overseeing report generation, sales packet compilation and ad-hoc administrative support as it relates to client prospecting, renewals and development. Leads the creation and maintenance of inside sales reports, as developed by members of the Product Sales Team. Works closely with Sales management, the Sales team and the Marketing team to identify marketing prospects and support lead tracking initiatives. Oversees daily activity reports and reporting trends and makes recommendations as needed on changes to reports, tactics and current strategy. Oversee the organization's sales operation team to support and enable sales teams to sell more efficiently and effectively by reducing friction in the sales process and providing sales leadership with insights based on data and anecdotal evidence to optimize systems, tools, and processes with the primary goal of increasing sales productivity and revenue. The Sr. Director, Sales Operations will working closely with other departments by leading everyone forward to ensure there is total team alignment. Here are the departments that Sales Operations works with and on what type of tasks: Sales: helping the sales teams become successful in selling and making sure they get what’s needed for them to sell Sales Development: ensuring alignment /coordination on sales support processes and optimization. Marketing: Top of funnel lead management Media Planning: ensuring media planning processes align. Learning Performance: making sure salespeople are well trained and understand the product and sales process. Organizational Change Management: coordination on all change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions. Customer Experience: customer engagement, implementation, post-sales support Business Process Design: ensure alignment on businesses processes. Operations: Customer onboarding, campaign execution process alignment, and knowledge management Finance: Budgeting, headcount planning, quotas, reporting, analytics, forecasting, etc. Product & Technology: ensuring alignment on architecture, internal customer support, and development coordination. Product & Pricing: work on customer feedback, product enhancements Legal: compliance, contract process, etc. Partner to formulate the sales planning and operations strategy inclusive of: Identifying KPIs & Sales Metrics Sales forecasting Data analysis High-level Planning and Goal Setting Streamlined Reporting for All Users Executive Leadership Team to Sales Rep Performance Communications Compensation & Incentive Plan Partner with sales, marketing, and product on: Lead Management Sales Process Optimization Implementation of Sales Methodologies & Best Practices Identifying KPIs & Sales Metrics Cross-collaboration between IT, Sales, Marketing, and Product on Sales Tools / Technology and Automation for: Adoption & Customization of CRM Integration of Apps and Tools Communication Management Data Management & Reporting Task Automation Experience in Salesforce CRM implementation and management ideal. Experience with matrix management. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Relevant Work Experience 10 Years + Salary: Pay Range: This job can be performed in Colorado with a Pay Range of $183,218.03 - $274,827.05 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
