Job Description
- Req#: 284106
- Conducts upset reporting calculations and submits excess emissions reports to applicable state and federal Regulatory Agencies.
- Ensures all stack testing and CEMS certifications are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Prepares and submits air permit applications to Regulatory Agencies.
- Ensures Refinery compliance with the National Emissions Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants, Air Quality Standards established by Environmental Protection Agency, and guidelines established by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
- Completes daily compliance reviews of required environmental recordkeeping data.
- Conducts routine refinery inspections to ensure environmental compliance.
- Completes reports for state and federal Regulatory Agencies, and maintains the appropriate documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s or higher level degree - in Engineering or a related Science required.
- Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Texas City Refinery, required.
- Master’s or higher level degree - in Engineering preferred.
!*!Ensures the Refinery complies with the Environmental Protection Agency’s rules and regulations.
This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
