What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with business development and project management teams to identify potential government contract opportunities
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape and pricing benchmarks
- Develop and implement pricing strategies during proposal development phases to provide accurate cost estimates
- Support the pricing efforts for formal contract submissions, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with government regulations
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of pricing documents to identify and address any discrepancies or issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in government contract pricing, focusing on identification and formal submission phases
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and government contracting processes
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in cost modeling and financial analysis
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and pricing software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Microsoft Certifications
- Experience with estimating tools and techniques (e.g., RS Means, WinEst)
- Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced organizational and project management skills
