      We have an opportunity for a Sr. Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Water Solutions team. Pentair is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Water Solutions (CWS) leadership team’s growth strategy and support finance processes for business analysis, operating expenses, and forecasting/budgeting.

      This role also offers a flexible Hybrid work schedule with 2 days/week in-office in Plainfield, IL; Bishop Woods, WI; or Golden Valley MN with the expectation to travel to Plainfield, IL once a month #LI-Hybrid

      You will:

      • Drive continuous improvement and lead Finance processes by:
        • Developing in-depth knowledge of the company’s operations, key industries, major competitors, and market trends
        • Delivering accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for the Commercial Water Solutions business
        • Analyzing significant variances from planned/forecasted and historical results in order to provide recommendations to management
        • Performing product line performance analytics and month-end reporting to cross-functional teams
        • Supporting ERP transition and other transformation initiatives of recently acquired business
        • Support pricing strategy, quoting, mix/margin analysis and profitability by business activity type
        • Partnering with Sales, Analytics, and Finance leaders to establish, maintain, and produce Branch and Sales Incentive Plans for the CWS business
        • Partnering with the Controlling Team to ensure the accuracy of the monthly results
      • Help standardize and improve key processes and reporting for our Finance team and overall organization in a culture that fosters respect and teamwork, positive energy, customer first, absolute integrity, innovation and adaptability, and accountability for performance
      • Develop finance processes and be viewed as a change agent, strategic partner, subject matter expert
      • Be a valued and integral part of our global organization, engaging with various levels of leadership

      Key Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or Economics, MBA is preferred
      • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Sales and Operations Finance or similar field
      • Have strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
      • Have ERP systems experience (SAP) with Power BI experience a plus
      • Have a solid understanding of financial statements and accounting
      • Have strong analytical background with the ability to effectively communicate and drive decision making using data and insights
      • Be able to travel up to 10% to other company sites or attend offsite training as needed
