      The Senior Finance Analyst for FP&A will play a vital role in supporting Key’s financial performance. This individual will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, producing timely and accurate reports, developing forecasts, facilitating the budgeting process, and supporting the CASTA submission. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure informed decision-making and support strategic goals.


      Essential Job Functions

      • Forecasting and Budgeting
        • In partnership with the FP&A team, orchestrates an efficient and effective financial forecasting and management process for the company
        • Maintain documentation for the corporate forecast
        • Ensure all controls governing the corporate forecast are met
        • Enables leaders to leverage results and forecast information to make strategic decisions effectively and timely
        • Understand macroeconomic factors that impacts the business and connect the trends to the financials and the performance of the business
        • Provides support around month-end close including variance analysis and impact to future performance
      • Analysis
        • Partners with the Line of Business, Finance and Corporate Treasury teams to provide insight and transparency into performance relative to strategic priorities and key performance metrics
        • Facilitate business segment financial review with LOB Finance teams
        • Provide updates to materials used in review with Executive Leadership
        • Coordinate delivery of materials for review with Board of Directors
        • Development and deployment of tools to enable evaluation of Key’s performance across a range of conditions
        • Utilizes analytics to create linkages across different client sets to provide insight into profitability and behavior across Key’s various business units
        • Provides perspective on external benchmarks to business performance and strategic positioning
      • CASTA
        • Support documentation of qualitative models at Key
        • Facilitate annual stress testing
        • Partner in the development of quantitative models
      • Continuous Improvement
        • Proactively seeks out opportunities to eliminate inefficient or redundant activities and reporting
        • Continuously identifies areas where manual processes can be transformed to automated or self-service activities
        • Supports Finance initiatives as needed


      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
      • 3-5 years of experience in Finance, preferably with exposure to banking
      • Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
      • Ability to anticipate questions and proactively develop materials or analysis
      • Strong financial acumen
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
      • Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
      • Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
      • Experience working with financial system reporting environments (i.e., Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Essbase, IBM TM1 or Cognos, etc.)
      • Experience with tools such as Tableau, SQL, etc. preferred

      COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

      This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $84,000 to $92,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
