- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Supervise and develop the accounting close, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting.
- Prepare and review internal and external financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of quarterly and annual financial reporting packages.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Lead the coordination of external audits and regulatory reviews, serving as the primary liaison with auditors and regulators.
- Direct the preparation and filing of the annual Form 20-F, including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and related disclosures.
- Manage and support additional SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), ensuring full adherence to disclosure and compliance requirements.
- Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and IFRS as applicable.
- Conduct technical accounting research and draft position papers for complex or non-routine transactions.
- Strengthen and maintain robust internal controls and efficient reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Legal, Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and other key departments to ensure accuracy and alignment in financial communications.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in financial systems, processes, and automation to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in month end financial closing and reporting
- Prior experience in Big 4 public accounting or a public company reporting environment.
- Proven track record of preparing Form 20-F and other SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and SOX compliance
- Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, Hyperion)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
