      This position will be dedicated to supporting, tracking, and assisting in delivering the Performance Coatings Group path to 20% ROS Initiatives. This position will be a member of the ROS Council across all Business Units, Regions, and Swim Lanes. These lanes include (Facility Optimization, RM and Conversion COGS reductions, Strategic Pricing Initiatives, among others). These projects will become part of our key operating plan initiatives for the next several years across the entire Performance Coatings Group.

      Qualifications

      POSITION REQUIREMENTS

      FORMAL EDUCATION:

      Required:

      • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related field

      Preferred:

      • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance or an MBA with a focus in Accounting, Finance or related field.

      KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

      Required:

      • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
      • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications.

      Preferred:

      • Experience in financial planning & analytics or supply chain accounting.
      • Experience with OneStream performance management software
      • Ability to analyze data, present findings, and offer proposed solutions.

      TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

      Required:

      • Capable of performing financial statement analysis involving sales, cost of goods sold, and SG&A.
      • Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies
      • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
      • Strong communications skills in both verbal and written form.
      • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

      Preferred:

      • Experience implementing and testing new systems
      • Ability to problem solve and make decisions in complex financial situations.
      • Experience with OnBase or Business Objects

      TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: (TIME SPENT AWAY FROM HOME OR OTHER TYPICAL OFFICE LOCATION)

      • 5%

      WORK SCHEDULE:

      • Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
      • Hybrid: This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.

      This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

      Responsibilities

      CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

      This position will be dedicated to supporting, tracking, and assisting in delivering the Performance Coatings Group path to 20% ROS Initiatives. This position will be a member of the ROS Council across all Business Units, Regions, and Swim Lanes. These lanes include (Facility Optimization, RM and Conversion COGS reductions, Strategic Pricing Initiatives, among others). These projects will become part of our key operating plan initiatives for the next several years across the entire Performance Coatings Group.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Timely reporting and tracking of projects within the Tracking Tool.
      • M&A Synergy Tracking
      • Assist in validation with Fin Director/Fin VP on key projects by working with cross functional teams (GSC, Procurement, Enterprise Finance).
      • Drive ROS Improvement projects related to Associated Products (GMROI Improvement & Obsolescence Reduction).
      • Ensure actuals are being populated timely by each BU in OnBase
      • Assist in removing project roadblocks.
      • Validating savings flowing through COGS primarily around Standard Costs (RM & Conversion) and Fixed Revenue.
      • Support the Facility Finance Director as it relates to all ROS Initiatives around GI/IW Facilities and Automotive Branches.
      • Key member of the monthly meeting cadence in discussing progress, challenges, and upcoming deliverables.
