- Assist in the strategic and financial greenlight process for Original Entertainment content on NBC, our cable networks, and Peacock
- Communicate effectively cross-functionally with Creative (Development and Current), Scheduling, Research, Prod Ops, Programming Finance, Ad Sales, and Business Affairs to obtain necessary inputs for proforma analyses and memorialize greenlight decisions in PDM system
- Build and maintain profitability databases of historical performance for Original Entertainment content on Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA
- Partner with support teams such as Decision Sciences, TV Ops & Production Tech (PDM), and Entertainment Business Solutions (COMPASS/ProFin) to utilize technology to streamline greenlight process and profitability analysis
- Provide strategic analysis on ad-hoc topics by creating financial models and summarizing in decks for executive review
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
- Advanced Excel skills (XLOOPUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, and nested IF formulas are used daily) with VBA knowledge a plus
- Proficient in creating digestible and informative PowerPoint decks
- Data visualization experience with Tableau or PowerBI
- An organized mindset that can meet strict deadlines with a strong attention to details
- A team player who brings a positive outlook and a calm demeanor
- A self-sufficient problem-solver who can independently manage multiple projects at the same time
- An intellectually curious and driven person
- Able to work effectively in environment with a dual reporting structure
- Media background preferred

The Senior Financial Analyst of Original Content Strategy & Finance is responsible for the financial evaluation of Entertainment titles across the NBCUniversal Television & Streaming portfolio. The team performs greenlight analyses for new and returning series and specials that air on NBC, our cable networks (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA), and Peacock. The SFA will report to the Director, Original Content Strategy & Finance.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
