- Reporting & analysis – provide timely, high quality and insightful analysis of financial, management and portfolio performance, including client profitability reporting and variance / trend analysis.
- Budgeting & forecasting – Collaborate with business and finance leaders to develop accurate and meaningful annual business plans and quarterly forecasts.
- Automation – Maintain financial and client reporting databases and dashboards, and utilize systems / technology to automate tasks and reporting packages.
- Support with various ad-hoc requests – Provide timely and accurate analyses, and support on projects and ad-hoc requests. Stay current on tools and information available to contribute to improving the effectiveness of data analysis and business initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships – Partner with the business, finance and other Infrastructure groups.
- Be proactive and self-disciplined – Try to anticipate challenges and stay committed to deliver quality results and decision support analysis in a timely fashion.
- Conceptual and organizational skills – Being able to see the “big picture” in a complex environment and translate your understanding and insights into a workable project plan.
- You have a degree in Accounting and/or a post graduate business degree with 3-5 years of FP&A experience.
- You can demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office Suite and Essbase skills, and proficiency in using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI etc.). It is an asset if you have familiarity with reporting for lending / deposits lines of business.

What you'll be doing
The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Corporate Banking Finance is responsible for providing high quality and insightful reporting & advisory support to the Global Trade & Banking business, including monitoring all aspects of business performance (revenue, expense, assets, capital), client / segment performance reporting, and end-to-end support on certain complex projects and analytical initiatives that support business objectives / initiatives.
