- Utilize a variety of data sources and KPIs to enhance and build detailed financial models that support financial plans and provide insights into past performance and future trends.
- Partner with multiple cross-functional teams in planning and analyzing the business to drive action and improve future outcomes.
- Effectively discuss tradeoffs, benefits, and the prioritization of various approaches with business leaders.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned and clearly communicate findings to support leadership decisions.
- Lead processes for supporting activities and analysis related to weekly, monthly, quarterly performance and forecasts, as well as annual and long-term plans.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines.
- Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan, Tableau, and SQL is a plus.
- Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.

Job Description
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will proactively drive results in close partnership with the business by building financial models to support near-term forecasts and long-term planning. You will provide insights on key drivers of business performance, supporting unowned inventory models and Nordstrom Product Group (NPG) sales, margin, and model profitability. This role involves direct collaboration with merch leaders, providing data-driven insights on our performance and opportunities, and supporting action plans to drive business results.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA. You must be willing to work at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week. We are not providing relocation for this role at this time.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
