      Position Summary:

      The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key resource on the PFG Corporate FP&A team for corporate sales, margin, and payroll reporting. This role will partner closely with the Sr. Manager of FP&A and be a key contributor and business partner in the journey to transform headcount reporting/analytics, financial KPIs and other FP&A reports from Excel to Power BI. The analyst will build, maintain and enhance new reports and dashboards and help drive advancements in PFG's reporting through data visualization and analytics using Power BI. The analyst will work with large, complex data sets and data hierarchies to provide "single-source of truth" and provide ongoing analysis and insights to various internal customers and senior leadership. This role also helps provide some support during peak periods of forecast, budget and BOD reporting. Great opportunity for someone with both FP&A and Data Visualization skillset.

      Position Responsibilities:
      • Collaborate with Sr. Manager to develop, automate and enhance new reporting and dashboards from Excel to Power BI to meet evolving business needs through use of business intelligence tools and/or partnership with IT and HR
      • Partner with Sr. Manager to create single source of truth for reporting. Assess and understand data nuances across various systems and reports, such as TM1/S4 and Power BI. Engage with appropriate teams to research and resolve
      • Serve as expert on sales data and reporting and assist internal customers with questions and issues as needed
      • Develop financial dashboards and metrics in Power BI leveraging SAP Financial data
      • Participate in integration of new sales, gross margin and HR data sets for newly acquired companies into data models
      • Collaborate with other Power BI users in PFG or Power BI community to share best practices. Be thought leader and resource for other finance users being introduced to Power BI tool
      • Stay informed on AI and automation use cases for FP&A. Participate in AI and automation pilot groups
      • Performs other related duties as assigned

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelors Degree
      • 2 – 4 years
      • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a high technical aptitude
      • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, and processes
      • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and professional interpersonal skills
      • Demonstrated ability to work across functional areas, including IT, Finance, HR and Senior Management
      • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
      • Experience with Power BI and/or other visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik
      • Understanding of data mapping tables, product and/or cost center hierarchies

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelors Degree in Finance, accounting or related area
      • 4 – 6 years
      • Understanding of financial statements
      • Familiarity with TM1 and S4 or other financial systems
      • Familiarity with UKG or other payroll systems data
      • Demonstrated Proficiency with Power BI and/or other visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik
      • Knowledge or Experience with data prep softwares such as Alteryx, PowerQuery or Tableau data prep
      • Experience working with large data sets, data models and heirarchies
      • Experience building dashboards and reports from various data sources
      • Experience working with Snowflake or similar data warehouse
      • Some experience working in Corp FP&A or Business Unit FP&A
