What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze operational flight data and produce reports for the Flight Operation Quality Assurance (FOQA) Program
- Respond to customer support requests for FOQA programs
- Create and validate FOQA events and measurements
- Perform safety studies and assist with data analysis for incident investigation
- Develop safety services products and maintain relationships with customers and partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Aviation, Aviation Safety, or Data Science
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- U.S. person status required due to access to export-controlled technology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate preferred
- Previous pilot experience in commercial, private, or military sectors
- Familiarity with aviation safety standards and best practices
- Knowledge of statistical processing languages (R, Python, or equivalent)
- Experience with Safety Management Systems and machine learning modeling
