Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on user experience and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Utilize modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our front-end practices are current.

• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with React.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

• Knowledge of modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and NPM.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Familiar with common front-end security, including common attack types(XSS, CSRF, CSP, etc.) and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Full-stack web application experience.

• Experience with Frontend microservices (single-spa, qiankun).

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
