      St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has a unique opportunity for an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist (I/O Psychologist) that operates under the direction of the Director of Learning and Development. The I/O Psychologist uses principles of behavioral science and empirical evidence to consult, enhance, and create programs to improve employee performance, productivity, development, engagement, and retention. This role has the responsibility of overseeing the performance management and employee lifecycle surveys, including program design, systems, communications, tools, resources and customer support. This new position will focus primarily on career path and career development work to support our Project 2300 initiative. The position will also support programs like Performance Management, Your Voice engagement survey, and Succession Planning. Minimum Education and/or Training: Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology is required. PhD preferred. SHRM or similar HR certification preferred Minimum Experience: Five years of experience in the application of I/O psychology in the workplace. This experience must include development and implementation of an organization-wide performance management initiatives, development of assessments for development of employees, uses of statistical analysis tools for assessment of program effectiveness and development of reports, and project management. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
