      What you will do:

      • Serve as the focal point for regional instrumentation service activities performed by operations and projects ensuring all safety, quality, reliability, and operational expectations are met.

      • Support operations with incident investigations through root cause analysis and Instrumentation Engineering initiatives aligned with LP strategic initiatives.

      • Finding opportunities to contribute to assessments of new technologies and systemic issues and supporting their remediation related to instrumentations and control valves.

      • Provide technical leadership by facilitating discussions surrounding technical issues in instrumentation and final pressure control element selection, design, and operation.

      • Provide technical feedback to the Management of Change (MOC process ensuring safety and reliability of assets.

      • Provide interpretations and ensure compliance to Enbridge standards and regulatory requirements, this includes supporting regulatory Information Requests (IR) and audits.

      Who you are:

      • Completion of an Engineering degree with a specialization in instrumentation, process control or electrical systems.

      • 6 years minimum of instrumentation, control valves engineering experience.

      • Registration as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain P Eng designation with APEGA within one year after hire in the Province of Alberta. Professional Licensee (Engineering) will also be considered.

      • Knowledgeable with regulatory and industry codes/standards for the oil and gas industry in the US and Canada relevant to instrumentation and control valves.

      • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.

      • Flexibility and able to shift between planned and unplanned activities.

      • Legally able to travel between the US and Canada.

      Working Conditions:

      • Office environment.

      • Under 5% of travel.
