What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, test, implement, and support clinical and administrative data interfaces between Epic and ancillary systems
- Provide production support, including on-call duties in a 24X7 environment
- Research and evaluate solutions to enhance workflows and promote efficiency
- Understand and apply design and development principles related to data integration
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful system integrations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems, processing, clinical, or engineering with an emphasis on analysis/design/process
- Minimum of seven (7) years of applicable work experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise with healthcare industry standard messaging formats (e.g., HL7, XML, ANSI x12)
- Current certification in Epic Bridges, with the requirement to achieve certification within the first 6 months of hire
- Certification in Cloverleaf interface engine (version 20.1 or higher), with the requirement to attain certification within the first 6 months of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five (5) years of related application maintenance/development of system integration in a healthcare environment
- Experience on at least two (2) major system implementations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology
