Job Description
- Req#: R10150
- Provide both on the phone and on-site software support, hardware installation and hardware maintenance for the user
- Monitor work order progress and job status, updating customers and relevant parties, as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Investigate and resolve field service issues, escalating as necessary
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed by field technicians
- Assist in managing inventory of parts and supplies
- Provide communication for placing equipment orders, as necessary
- Plan and implement strategies to improve and optimize field service operations
- College degree, or equivalent certifications, in IT related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT customer service or service management role
- Microsoft Windows networking and LAN/WAN experience
- Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management tools such as Mobile Iron
- Expert knowledge of IT best practices and policies
- A detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and IP addressing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and Active Directory a plus
- Proven track record of successful team leadership and development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
- Working knowledge of hardware products and software capabilities
