Job Description :
Sr. Learning Strategist Americas (US, LATAM and Canada) Region positions offered by Volvo Car USA LLC ( Ridgeville, SC ). Drive learning innovation across the Americas Region (Brazil, Mexico, US, and Canada). Drive learning innovation and thought leadership by defining and developing a strategy for learning effectiveness and business impact for Volvo Cars. Collaborate with clients to identify strategic and tactical goals for development programs. Identify critical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to support client training objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships at all organizational levels to achieve a trusted advisor status, service as the primary interface between client and development team and take action demonstrating a client-centric orientation. Creatively apply extensive knowledge of adult learning theories, user-centric design, and business and organizational acumen to develop innovative and engaging performance improvement programs.
Minimum Requirements :
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Education, International Relations, Training, HR or a related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience performing instructional design in the automotive industry. Requires 5 years of experience: leading people; writing technical approaches for proposals; developing communications strategies; managing budgets and assets; developing leadership curriculum using adult learning theory, practice methodologies, and evaluation practices; and conducting project management methodology globally. Requires 4 years of experience developing eLearning with Storyline and Captivate authoring tools. Requires 3 years of experience generating learning programs using the ADDIE Model. Requires 1 year of experience: leading management development programs; performing vendor management; and collaborating with global teams on projects using online collaboration tools. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
