      Job Summary

      Join Fresenius Kabi as a Director of Commercial Excellence for our Medical Technologies Division.

      This position reports to the President of Global Commercial Operations Medical Technologies and dotted line to corporate head of Commercial Excellence. Primarily responsible for developing a global plan and procedures for best demonstrated practices in driving commercial excellence for medical technology. Work with 5 regional leaders to execute and train the organization on newly created expectations. Develop and manage a Commercial Dashboard. Identify and compare against competition and best demonstrated practices. Identify areas of underperformance and work with regional lead to develop and implement a recovery plan. Manage global commercial expectations around CRM usage and Learning and Development assessment and compliance. Work with compensation development to drive business objectives and goals that leads to an effective incentive plan.

      Responsibilities

      • Global Commercial responsibility that Defines and leads all aspects of commercial excellence.
      • Participate in all interviews for field positions to help identify high potential candidates. Works and coaches with all levels of managers to influence change. Develop and link commercial excellence into our CRM.
      • Evaluates financial results of relevant business areas in Sales and Marketing. Identify and analyze appropriate market/product trends and provide summary of monthly KPI’s to Senior Management.
      • Leads the Commercial Excellence MedTech process in conjunction with Kabi corporate initiative. Submit and presents summary to key stakeholders in finance and MTM.
      • Leads the development of dashboards and KPI’s to track and report progress and achievement of metrics.
      • Coordinates timely preparation of financial forecasts summarizing company’s product portfolio performance key trends for MedTech division and corporate in Germany. Also prepares demand planning strategy for the company’s product portfolio for local and international businesses.
      • Implement existing global strategies and concepts into the MedTech regions and local markets. the Commercial Excellence Med Tech process in conjunction with Kabi corporate initiative. Submit and present summary to key stakeholders in finance and MTM.
      • Manages and oversees the company’s data assets. Serve as the data steward in preparing, summarizing, and managing all commercial analysis. Uses IMS, SAP, TM1, MicroStrategy, Qlik and other databases and tools to obtain and prepare high-quality analysis in a consistent manner.
      • Identify, analyze, and provide recommendations related to market competitive trends in the Medical Devices industry. Apply strategic and competitive market intelligence within business analysis that could influence pricing decisions in the commercial organization during negotiations.
      • Oversee all pricing activities, initiatives, and deliverables for the Commercial organization. Anticipate the consequences of pricing and business analysis decisions while weighing multiple factors, and review as appropriate with the commercial organization.
      • Manage and direct robust sales analytics to fuel customer targeting, compliance opportunities with other involved organizational units.
      • Provide input into continuous improvement of financial analysis processes and interfaces with other involved organizational units.
      • Manage the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses and prepare metrics on business issues and/or opportunities.
      • Strategically analyze and present financial trends, market evaluation drivers, competitor behavior and any other shareholder issues relating to Inventor Relation inquiries. Develop appropriate insights that augment the overall corporate strategy.
      • Work in collaboration with Marketing and Business Unit (BU) Portfolio Teams to make recommendations on future pipeline targets and product opportunities by leading the market assumptions and financial analysis for all new products or business development initiatives.
      • Contribute to the preparation of ad-hoc presentations, assess the impact of the analysis, identify conclusions, opportunities, and risks, and make appropriate recommendations to Senior Management

      Requirements

      • BA or BS required (MBA degree a plus)
      • 10 years of experience in the medical device industry with a minimum of 10 years related work experience and 5 years with financial/business/contract analysis)
      • Knowledge of the Medical Device industry or hospital products sales and marketing preferred.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
      • Systems experience required, Excel, Power Point, Power BI and CRMS, preferably Salesforce
      • Strong business acumen and highly analytical with attention to details.
      • Able to manage and prioritize multiply complex projects with demonstrated time management skills
      • Experience in commercial excellence required.
      • Sales Leadership experience in a medical device unit preferred.
      • Must be a strong leader and have the ability to work cross functionally and globally with other cultures
      • Global experience preferred.
