      GENERAL FUNCTION

      The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to approximately 800+ employees in a 24/7 high-volume optical manufacturing and distribution center environment. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing excellent internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

      Major Duties And Responsibilities

      1. Leadership Development: Partners with first-line leaders to provide strategic direction and build effective teams. Identifies training gaps and programs to bridge gaps.
      2. Talent Acquisition: Works with leaders to create and maintain staffing plans for direct labor workforce and manages onsite staffing agencies to ensure success and growth. Leads orientation programs.
      3. Employee Relations: Serves as a key point of contact for employees and front-line leaders, providing coaching and guidance. Reviews trends with management and recommends actions to ensure positive organizational changes and employee engagement.
      4. Safety: Supports the development of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) plans to meet operational goals, reduce accidents, injuries, and incidents. Actively participates in the return-to-work program.
      5. HR Operations: Understands and stays updated on employee programs, processes, and systems related to HR (e.g., compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS), and collaborates with program owners in the COE to navigate resources.
      6. Compliance: Proactively manages employment-related risks, including litigation and investigations, in accordance with regulations and company policies.
      7. Partners with other HR disciplines and departments to ensure quality delivery of company-wide programs and initiatives.
      8. Fosters an environment conducive to a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
      9. Performs other duties as assigned.

      Basic Qualifications

      1. Bachelor's degree required.
      2. 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
      3. Experience supporting hourly employee groups.
      4. Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
      5. Proficiency in organizational development, performance management, compensation, talent acquisition, compliance, and coaching.
      6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and credibility.
      7. Strong business acumen and organizational agility.
      8. Ability to contribute ideas and see HR strategies through to implementation.
      9. Excellent planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
      10. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
      11. Resourceful, innovative, and creative problem solver.
      12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
      13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

      Preferred Qualifications

      1. Master's Degree.
      2. Fluency in Spanish.

      Pay Range: $130,547.23 - $186,376.67

      Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Benefits may include health care, retirement, paid time off, and employee discounts.
