      This is an individual contributor, heavy remote role in Irving, TX.

      Current Need:

      As a Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications serving Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying the narrative of the Strategic, Community and Specialized Care (SCS) segment. You will craft, manage, and strategically position both the internal and external narratives, ensuring alignment with our value proposition and business needs. This role combines the art of storytelling with an acute understanding of the pharmacy industry, positioning pharmacies as key stakeholders in improving people's well-being.

      A successful candidate for this role will be able to confidently plan, create and communicate external messaging and thought leadership for the SCS segment, including but not limited to, executive script writing, industry event messaging and other narrative elements that elevate the business.

      This role is responsible for internally fostering a strong sense of purpose and motivation among employees through impactful storytelling. This includes crafting and positioning executive messaging that is consistent across the business. This role requires creating and providing visual storytelling presentations to prepare field sales with confidence to extend that narrative into customer conversations.

      This role will also partner with key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure the segment narrative works in line with the overarching corporate narrative.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Plan, create and execute external content for the Strategic, Community and Specialized Care (SCS ) segment, including but not limited to, e xecutive script writing and industry events messaging

      • Develop and oversee communications materials intended for various audiences and channels (presentations, executive emails, speeches, videos, talking points)

      • Collaborate with enterprise teams (public relations, brand, marketing, communications) to develop content and ensure narrative alignment

      • Communicate the segment’s internal updates to prepare field sales on an ongoing basis

      • Develop and craft content for internal events, including but not limited to, National Sales Conference and Town Halls

      • Maintain the segment’s capabilities deck to align with value proposition

      • Manage special projects and flex when needed

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of Marketing, Communications, or related experience.

      Critical Skills:

      • Healthcare industry experience preferred

      • Expertise in content creation, including writing articles, blog posts, social media content, executive speeches, video scripts, and other forms of multimedia content

      • Confidence in communicating narratives in front of a broad audience

      • Track record of serving as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders

      • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across the company and work collaboratively with people at all levels

      • Ability to think strategically and align narratives with the company's mission, vision, and goals

      • Comfortable with managing confidential information

      As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $103,200 - $172,000
