- Lead merchandising strategy for assigned product category, driving sales growth and profitability.
- Build and manage relationships with top-tier vendors and sellers to develop strategic merchandising partnerships.
- Develop and execute merchandising programs and promotional campaigns aligned with category goals.
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure inventory availability and alignment with promotional plans.
- Manage daily deal initiatives, site placement, and exposure opportunities for high-performing products.
- Monitor competitor websites to identify trends, assess pricing, and enhance Newegg’s positioning.
- Identify and maximize vendor incentive opportunities through innovative programs and negotiation.
- Analyze internal and external trends to inform category planning and go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in merchandising within an IT e-commerce environment.
- Proven experience working with major brand vendors and managing vendor-funded programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actionable plans.
- Deep knowledge of both e-commerce and traditional marketing practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with a strategic mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
