- Design, implement, and maintain security controls within GSK’s OT environments.
- Develop compensating controls and/or mitigations to identified cyber risks and vulnerabilities.
- Design security policies, procedures, and controls in compliance with NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, and GSK’s OT security standards.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to OT security.
- Collect and produce the needed documentation, certification, and testing required to deploy new security solutions.
- Stay abreast of current cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate and coordinate with engineering teams to integrate security controls into the design of OT systems and devices.
- Define and implement security configurations, policies, and procedures for OT assets and systems.
- Assist in the implementation of a comprehensive OT Security strategy that is aligned with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively communicate with individuals possessing diverse levels of technical expertise.
- Be a contributing member of the OT Change Advisory Board.
- 5+ year’s experience in cybersecurity engineering.
- Experience designing and deploying network security controls, and security solutions.
- Knowledge of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture.
- Experience deploying security controls in an OT/ICS environment.
- Knowledge of Automation Engineering and plant floor systems.
- Experience working with cloud-based security solutions.
- Knowledge of ICS security (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443).
- Experience as an automation engineer
- CISSP, Azure, GCP, ISA/IEC 62443 certifications
- Experience performing cyber security risk assessments.
- Experience deploying and operating the Tenable suite of products.
- StealthWatch experience
- A thorough understanding of network architectures and network infrastructure
- A practical understanding of all layers of the OSI model
- A complete understanding of the latest OT security principles, techniques, and protocols
- The ability to engage yourself in rational calculated thought. (Likely probabilities vs. endless possibilities)
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to present technical topics to audiences of varying technical abilities, from senior leadership to technical experts.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to promote thoughtful, practical solutions to tough security problems.

As a Sr. manager you will be a member of the OT (Operational Technology) Security Architecture & Engineering team, part of the Cyber Security Office (CSO). This role focuses on protecting critical infrastructure, industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other specialized technology used within GSK’s industrial processes, from cyber security threats. The Security Solutions Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams from IT, Cyber Security, and Business Units to ensure that proper controls are designed and put in place to effectively secure GSK’s OT networks. This is an individual contributor role.

The annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $126,820 to $171,580 , taking into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
